Case Study: ATRIUM in Student Accommodations
Thanks to its flexibility and cost-effectiveness, CDVI’s ATRIUM Access Control system is ideal for education buildings and student accommodations.
ATRIUM is a web-based access control system, featuring a free management software and end user browser, allowing users to access and manage their system wherever they are and whenever they want.
At the University of Sheffield, an integrated ATRIUM Access Control system can be found, talking back to wireless handles and a video door entry system.
One CDVI Installer was chosen to carry out a quality installation using the ATRIUM Aperio integration (AP22) for 15 bedrooms across 3 flats in Sheffield. The integration allowed for stylish wireless handles to be linked back to the access control system.
A video door entry system from CDVI’s 2Easy system was also added and talked back to ATRIUM thanks to the CDV-ACC module.
Going further and as this site was shared and needed to be accessed by the surrounding businesses, a CDVI Wiegand system was used in order to integrate all user cards. This single and cost-effective system allowed access to anyone working or living there.
