This dual technology card credential offers ultimate flexibility and convenience for users. The active tag allows users to be granted access without having to present the card directly to the reader; even if the card is in their pocket or attached to a lanyard, the long-range reader will pick it up. The additional built-in MIFARE® Classic tag can store more than just the unique access code; it can also be used to store other data such as payment information for vending machines.
